Always do your research on the item you are buying: check how much it's worth second-hand/new, and what its features are (e.g. if you're buying a 2nd hand camera, find out its specifications). And ALWAYS check out the seller. Ask questions if you need to, and read their profile. While there are a few cowboys out there, I've never had a problem with anyone on Ebay.
